How to use the VIS-Override function?
Turn NGAL/LA23 or PEQ-15 Illuminator laser device to a functional mode other than 0 (off), then press the round button on the pad, activate the VIS-Override function.

How to install the Mounts?
Insert the switch pad into the mount, then install the bolt and nut. Finally, secure it to the Picatinny rail and tighten the locking bolt.

Considering different users’ force application habits, you can install the mount’s bolt on the side where you’re more comfortable applying pressure, and then attach the nut on the opposite side—this depends on your personal preference. The bolts is not directional and can be installed on either side. Once positioned on the Picatinny rail, tighten the bolt securely with hex key, making use of the rail slots to lock it firmly in place.

How to determine if your PEQ-15 supports the VIS-OVERRIDE function?

1. Switch to the “0” mode, insert the battery, and observe the indicator light. If the light blinks twice and then goes out, it indicates the presence of the vis-override function.
2. If you purchased the PEQ-15 illuminator directly from Somogear.com, all units ordered from September 22, 2024, come with the vis-override function. (Otherwise, it can only use basic functions and does not have the VIS-OVERRIDE feature.)
